Early Life, Struggle and Journey of Hansraj Raghuwanshi

Hansraj started singing when he was in the 5th class of his government school in Himachal Pradesh. He got the inspiration to sing from his father, Mr Prem Raghuwanshi, who frequently sang in the Mandali (gatherings) of the town.

Hansraj often sang in the school’s cultural events and programs, where he always got appreciated by his friends and teachers. Every time he performed, he got appreciated by everybody. This pushed Raghuwanshi’s motivation to peak levels.

Hansraj had now reached his 10th standard, and because of the unfortunate events of life, he had to leave his passion aside and look for a job that could earn him a living. His parents too, started questioning him about his plans, as he had repeatedly failed his 10th standard twice to thrice.

He soon went to Delhi looking for a job but was later back to his hometown and got admitted to a government college to pursue B. Com. While studying for his bachelor’s, he worked in the canteen of the same college to earn some money that could help him continue developing his passion once again.

After collecting enough money to release a song, he soon launched one of his super hit tracks called “Babaji on YouTube.”

In no time, ‘Babaji’ became popular. It received a very positive response from the audience from all around the Country.

Hansraj was now getting identified for his talent by people around the nation. But this was not enough. Hansraj required a stage to present his art which was nowhere in the entire Himachal Pradesh. All he knew was Mumbai, a proper commercial stage to showcase his talent.

But he didn’t go to Mumbai. He instead went to Shimla, where he worked as a delivery person for a year. He made enough money to launch another song on YouTube that was “Babul”. A track based on the life of girls. Launching this song was a very tough task for Hansraj Raghuwanshi since he had to put much effort into its making.

The launch of “Babul” on YouTube was a move that changed Hansraj’s life slightly. Although not alone ‘Babul’ but his other super-hit songs like ‘Fakira’ and ‘Mera Bhola Hai Bhandari’ played a crucial turning point in his life.

With dedication, hard work, patience and practice, Hansraj finally started receiving big offers that changed his life completely. His financial problems were now destined to come to an end.
